Re: Taylor

Is Taylor working her butt off or is her butt being worked off for her?

Re: Holidays

I've only heard about turkey drives; the popular one being t-shirts for turkeys. I'd rather just give a turkey and leave the t-shirt.

Re: Carrie Underwood

I don't remember the names of the songs that Carrie performed. I think one was the new single. The other sounded very similar and was about a name, I think. ????

And if George Jones is the only one thinking about the sound of country, will it continue in the pop/rock direction? Seems watered down.

Carrie Underwood

Congrats to Carrie for releasing her new record today. I heard/saw her perform on Good Morning America this morning. She looked great and sounded good. But....was that Country music? Outside of the violin/fiddle player and her vocal gymnastics to sound Country.

Re: Christmas Music

And stations are starting to play Christmas songs and flip to Christmas formats. Seriously?

What happened to Halloween and Thanksgiving? Or at least Thanksgiving since I guess Christian doesn't pay attention to Halloween.

Re: Christmas Music

Do many stations flip to Christmas in the Country format? It's a given for bunches in the Christian world.

How does that play out in this format?

Just curious,

What, adambombs? You don't like tobyMac? I didn't think there was anyone out there who didn't like toby. Love the guts and honesty.

I don't mind him so much - he seems to actually talk about important issues for Christians today.

Maybe you're too old - and he's for a younger audience.

Myspace & Videos & Facebook, etc.

I saw in net news today that myspace made a deal with some labels for music videos to be posted on the site but to be made available for sharing on other social networking sites like Facebook. Much like the youtube videos are shared now on Facebook, etc. Who are the people using myspace these days a...
