Yes, "Making Babies in Fort Wayne" may be the most moronic headline I've seen so far. Sounds like
that's the only positive spin they can put on a city like Fort Wayne.

Lots of luck with the book, and all that rot. Radio stories are blase'. I used to think it was unique, all the sleazy business deals, firing jocks for no reasons, GM trying to bang a request line girl, remotes, drugs, meeting famous musicans, payola. It's done, after awhile its like water off a duck...

Jayster, you made some great points. In essence their business model is to utilize free talent, so when or more importantly if they receive funding the talent has a chance to be compensated. I would implore people to try to avoid any free work unless it's for a worthy cause. Not for a business plan ...

I think it's absurd that AA allows alleged start-ups (still seeking investors) to run ads for volunteer on-air talent. I have to laugh at the notion that he has the only audio recording. I was there for the first Cal Jam, as a young teenager, and I know I was recorded by ABC. As Rob mentioned pieces are on Youtube. Not sure what you can do with your version without talking to music industry lawyers.
