All Access News Coverage is slipping and sluggish

Post by mockspeed » Fri Sep 16, 2011 5:36 pm

Noticed recently that often the same headlines in the morning are at the top of News in afternoons. Meanwhile other online trades are scooping All Access on a number of topics. Joel, don't take this for granted. There are increasingly other sources of radio news. Also the Colgate thing is over the top.
AA is starting to look very self serving, and out of touch when the business of radio is in such rough shape.

For instance Bob Pittman today called out Padora, labeling it a "nifty feature, not a business".
Has yet to appear in AA. Not to mention the lack of brass ones in covering Cumulus. It's almost shameful.

Hey Mockspeed ... thanks for the input!

As far as major stories staying at the top of Net News, if they are the biggest stories then that's what it is that day. Some days we have a number of big stories -- some days not.

We're generally breaking/leading the industry on news -- if there is something you'd like to specifically address, always feel free to write me directly at jdenver@allaccess.com. Thanks -- Joel

And ... the Colgate ad will be gone ASAP today, too. We tried a new configuration and it didn't lend to a good user experience. Thanks for the input! We're listening -- Joel
